Philip graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2014 and started working with all species in rural practice, with a particular interest in small animal surgery.
He relocated to a small animal hospital in Belfast to focus on surgery in cats and dogs. He undertook further training in this role, gaining a postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery. His focus was primarily on neurosurgery, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.
Philip is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Neurology and Neurosurgery. He has completed advanced training with specialist neurosurgeons in England, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands.
At NIVS, Philip will offer a complete neurology and neurosurgery referral services using state of the art procedures including surgery for brain and spinal tumours, spinal stabilisation and fracture repair and treatment of seizures and peripheral nerve disorders.
