Northern Ireland Veterinary Specialists (NiVS) is Ireland’s first multidisciplinary Specialist-led small animal referral hospital.
The hospital is conveniently located just outside Hillsborough, County Down close to the A1 and M1 motorway network.

Our team of American and European Specialists are highly competent in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of soft tissue, orthopaedic, neurosurgical and cardiovascular conditions.
We only see cases referred by veterinary surgeons for specialist diagnosis or treatment.

We will work with you to make referral as simple as possible and provide owners with the best treatment options for their pets.
In conjunction with our dedicated nursing and support teams, we will provide pragmatic, clear and efficient communication throughout the referral process for both clients and referring vets.
