Kat qualified with a BSC (Hons) in Zoology from Queens University of Belfast before moving to the USA where she spent 18 years working in diverse veterinary roles. This included working as a Veterinary Technician in a large emergency veterinary hospital in Fort Worth, Texas in addition to working as an Associate Scientist with Novartis.
Kat’s passion is in veterinary team development, and she spent over 8 years with a veterinary group in Dallas/Fort Worth supporting 5 clinics in her role as hospital director, where she successfully completed her accreditation as a Certified Veterinary Business Leader. With a deep passion for high standards of patient care and supporting team growth, Kat’s compassionate leadership skills at Northern Ireland Veterinary Specialists help to foster hospital growth, improve client experiences and provide professional development to her team.
