Julie Hamilton Elliott

Julieiversity of Liverpool from 2013-14. She completed her residency in small animal cardiology, also in Liverpool which she completed in 2018 beforeJulie received her veterinary degree from the University of Liverpool in 2011. Staying inLiverpool, she worked in companion animal practice before returning to the University to undertake a small animal rotating internship from 2013-14. In 2018 Julie completed her residency in small animal cardiology and remained at the University as a lecturer in cardiology. During that time Julie completed the RCVS certificate of advanced veterinary practice in small animal medicine. Julie achieved specialist status in 2021. As the only EBVS® and RCVS specialist offering the only full-time specialist-led medical and interventional service in Ireland, Julie remains committed to providing up to date complex and life-saving cardiac interventions to small animals all over the country. She is also a visiting lecturer in cardiology to University College Dublin and a module coordinator for the University of Liverpool’s Postgraduate Unit.
