Aidan McAlinden

Aidan holds ECVS Diploma in Small Animal Surgery and is ECVS and RCVS recognised Specialist in Small Animal Surgery. He has worked in several large multi-disciplinary referral hospitals across the UK and gained extensive experience in soft tissue, orthopaedic and neurosurgery. Aidan was previously Assistant Professor of Veterinary Surgery at University College Dublin and continues to provide postgraduate education through his role as Associate Tutor with the University of Chester and CPD Solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Oncology and is actively involved in clinical research in this area.  Alongside his role as specialist surgeon, Aidan is Academic and Content Director at Improve International, Aidan is responsible for the development of world-leading educational programmes. Education and teaching are a major passion, having played a key role in the development, delivery and assessment of postgraduate education alongside his busy clinical practice.
