Mary-Beth graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2022 with a distinction in her BSc in Veterinary Nursing. She received the 2022 VCI Student Veterinary Nurse of the year, as well as the President’s Award for Academic Excellence. She published her first article on “Equine Vaccination: an RVN perspective” in the Veterinary Ireland Journal, April 2023.

Initially, Mary-Beth worked in mixed practice, nursing patients through their procedures and assisting the vets out on farms. However, wanting a challenge, Mary-Beth joined NIVS in November 2023 and has thrived since. She has a great interest in medical cases and gives her all to her patients.

When not working, she is usually hiking with her dog Teddy in the Mournes, reading a good book, or messing about with arts and crafts.
