Things to do
Hillsborough Castle is the official residence of the Queen and the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when in town. Tours are available of the castle grounds, inside the castle and the beautiful gardens surrounding it.
Belfast city is about 20 minutes drive and has a lot to offer such as The Titanic Museum, Ulster Museum, Botanic Gardens, Belfast City Hall, Belfast Castle, Cavehill, a wide variety of restaurants and an endless shopping experience.
Lisburn city is a 10 minute drive and is the home of the The Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum where you can explore the heritage of linen and the history of the area. Near the river Lagan, the car free city centre has some pretty walks surrounded by enticing cafes and restaurants.
